INFORM THE ADVERTISING COMMUNITY ABOUT OUR NAME CHANGE
These Days has been part of the Wunderman network for a while. But in 2018 we decided to truly become one with our parent network by changing our name to Wunderman Antwerp. We wanted everybody in the advertising community to know about it, and preferably to talk about it too.
WE STARTED A RUMOUR AND LET ADVERTISING SPREAD THE NEWS FOR US
To spread the news of our name-change to Wunderman Antwerp as fast as possible, we used the fastest medium in our sector: gossip. With the help of PUB magazine, we launched some slightly fake news: Telenet leaves These Days. Big news as Telenet has been the biggest account of These days for 9 years, making them an interesting prospect for other agencies. The rest of the newsflash stayed cryptic, only saying that more information would be given later during a live press conference by the CEO of Telenet, Mr. John Porter himself. This spiked even more rumours. During the live press conference on Facebook, Mr. Porter told everyone Telenet would leave These Days and move to Wunderman Antwerp.
